Beverly Hills, founder of Miss Southern Elegance

For the past thirteen years, Miss Southern Elegance has thrived under the promotion of Beverly Hills and Bruce Lamensdorf.  During this time, the pageant produced three Miss Gay Americas - Charity Case, Miss Gay America 2001, Raquel Chevallier, Miss Gay America 2005 and Nicole DuBois, Miss Gay America 2006.  The pageant also saw fifteen of it's winners and first alternates take a spot in the top ten at Miss Gay America.  After many years of promoting a successful pageant, Beverly has decided to pursue other interests.

Miss Southern Elegance America - A new chapter...

It is with great pleasure that I have accepted the challenge of promoting this prestigious title.  I could not do this alone, so joining me will be the production team of Jimmy Bogle, Bruce Lamensdorf, Gregg O'Brian and Joseph Millis.  We hope to continue the tradition of excellence that has been a hallmark of this pageant.  Please join us for history in the making, August 27, 2006 in Dallas, Texas, as we crown Miss Southern Elegance America 2007.
